A major hurdle to our restoration project is how big the Tiller is with no running motor. The Tiller is just sheer dead weight almost nearly impossible to move. It would be quite expensive to move a Tiller up and down the road on a flat bed truck to get worked on. To make the restoration manageable for us, we decided to separate the tractor from the trailer. We then welded a kingpin onto the trailer, mated it with a land dolly to move the trailer around the yard when needed. Now we can move the tractor when needed easily and eventually to different vendors for various work projects.
