On this page I've will be posting pictures of the restoration of F1246.  I've decided to display the restoration in it's various stages or projects.  Each project on the pumper has been quite the experience, as I have to learn about that particular system or component.  Many thanks to various CFE members and the City of Monrovia Fire Department members who have given me the history and background on many Crown components and without their help, much of this restoration would not be possible.

We started the restoration project on 8.8.2008 with the removal of the Hard Top.  A majority of the restoration has been completed to date.  As of now the restoration project is at 3 years and 3 months and counting.  We are in the process of restoring over 20 components and systems at the same time.  When completed the pumper should be about 95% fully restored.
