Well, the gas tank on F1246 was quite the surprise for us. The gas tank was in real bad shape and badly corroded. The gas tank was basically falling apart inside. This is one of the main reasons why the engine was running very rough. We had two options that we faced with the gas tank. Our first option, was to restore the gas tank and the prices were running just under $1,000. The second option was to make a new gas tank. We got a new gas tank made for $550 from Aero Fuel Tanks in Corona, CA.
